Tale of Plantaria
Portrait Project
Launch date: July 2010

The first series of Personal Projects inspired by the Scientific drawings of Ernst Haeckel.

Utilizing the powerful tactility of natural wool blankets donated by the Canadian Red Cross, I made the 'Plantaria'. A chandelier sculpture created in the fabulous wool recyclables and outfitted with LED light bulbs.
