SALTAR IN BANCO
Launch date: July 2011

A circus themed photographic project in collaboration with photographer, Pierre Manning & make-up/ hair artisan Maïna Malitza.

Costume elements are inspired by a trip with a close friend and circus performer in February 2011. Traveling to New York, London & Berlin, I became as spectator of the wonder, mystery and grand production that is Circus... like running away to join just for a little while.

definition of Saltimbanque; is a street entertainer (performing arts).
He/ she does all sorts of tricks and plays to amuse the populace astonishment at fairs. The troupes were occurring from town to town the Ancien Regime. The performances were diverse, from a bear roaming the playwrights who would give French literature its letters of nobility (give the life of Molière).
