The animation director and designer Cris Wiegandt was requested by Ogilvy & Mather Berlin and MovieBrats Studios to develop a recycling world out of Coca-Cola products. She teamed up with artist & set designer Lacy Barry and a team of skilled craftswomen for an intense experimentation process, testing various learnt and made-up techniques involving Coca-Cola packaging.
In the duo’s words "Bottle Love Story was a labor of ‘love", utilizing hundreds of Coca-Cola PET plastic bottles, tin cans and cardboard crates. After two months of crafting, a fleet of animators, and consistent revisions to get the project at utmost refinement, a commercial love story was born…all with the focus on minimal waste and maximum recycling.
