Paper Crafted Pop-up Cards

For the opening of Light Artist Susanne Rottenbacher‘s exhibition Lily Pond at the Swarovski Kristallwelten in Innsbruck, Austria, I designed, developed and produced fifty pop-up cards exposing a miniature rendition the artist’s lily flower and garnishing lily pads against the galleries mirrored arches. Working closely with Susanne’s preferred shapes and iconic iridescent foil, I used a thin PVC that mimicked the clear vinyl glass of the actual life sized art installation. Each card finished with Swarovski crystals and fastened with a satin ribbon bow to be placed on plates as a memorable keepsake for guests of an illuminating evening.
