VanCleef & Arpels

LICHTENGARTEN
Art Workshop
event date: April 26th, 2024

Held at LichtenGarten Studio & Gallery, this workshop consisted of two groups of approximately 10 participants each from VanCleef & Arpels Paris. In each grouping, I guided the participants through the 2D paper illustration process, while playfully exploring this Deep Sea illustration in a variation colors, made to mix & match to their desired combinations. The creative process was meditative as a cacophony of gently layered artworks  were formed, imbued with personality and garnished with playful details each composer saw fit.

PRADA

KADEWE BERLIN
Art Workshop
event date: February 13-14, 2023

Custom made 2 & 3 dimensional paper flower bouquets, formed in Prada’s SS23 collection colors of delicate pinks, baby blues, smooth greys, creamy beiges, bright off-white and deep black, is a hommage to the seasons ‘paper dress’. Prada patrons were able to view my creative process, only formally held to the confines of my art studio; assembling my signature rose, lily and chrysanthemums, with a garnish of forget-me-nots adhired to textured pink and flat white card backdrops, before being spritzed with perfume essence and placed in a gift box or envelope for safe keeping.

Paper Vienna – BlogFabrik Berlin
Live Talk, Photo Walls & DIY Crafts
Event Date: April 25th, 2019, 7-10pm

Crizilla & Delasey take you on a journey to Vienna with Pergraphica Paper and Forward Festivals. Here you can eat wursts and drink beer amongst a cutely characterized 3D paper-craft Wurstelstand, make a pop-up card complete with instructions to cut-out your very own little Vienna to then pose with in a life sized Paper Vienna backdrop, complete with paper prop drinks. After all that we get into the grit of who Crizilla & Delasey really are; what moves and inspires us, some of our favourite projects and maybe a ghost story or two. So gather round for the most thrilling live session, where we answer your most gripping C&D questions, sans smoke puff entrance ( we are still working on that feature).

Adidas MakerLab

Paper Tales - Adidas HQ Germany
Workshop & Live Talk
Event date: October 4-5th, 2017

Adidas MakerLab hired Crizilla & Delasey aka Cris Wiegandt & Lacy Barry to construct and conduct a two day workshop at their German headquarters in Herzog. Each participant of various skill levels took part in a simple to complex paper shape building lesson, followed by a character crafting session, and finally a short story-telling feature with their character/ paper shapes by means of guided stop-motion animation.  In the creation and process of the Paper Tales Workshop, Lacy & Cris were able to create a workshop that looked at story telling from a tactile perspective, giving a light overview to the aspects of animating physical objects and developing a story with them. Character development, color moods, material combining, and technique experimentation, were all attributes encouraged within the workshop.

Day one consisted of beginner to medium level participants with little to some experience working by hand. Therefore raw materials and simple shape lessons were used to develop characters before bringing their projects to life in simple stop-motion stories. Day two was a more intermediate crowd. This day we participants choose an Adidas shoe and develop a visual world or story around the shoe they chose. This resulted in many esthetic variations involving stop-motion animating or still life photography.
